Can drinking cold coffee be passed on through genetics?

(I call my pic the 45 year old khaki businessman photo...)
Happy Sunday night everyone! Recently I went on a business trip to San Diego and was able to take some extra days beforehand to see my family there. Whenever I see my grandparents in San Diego, I always enjoy taking walks, going to events and just having some great conversations. However, this trip, I confirmed that the genetic links are strong in the Mann family.
Karyn always is noticing that I drink my coffee over a very, very long time. She zips through her vanilla skim latte and I drink mine over about an hour period. Sometimes even longer. Perhaps Karyn has a higher threshold for the hot coffee (she even orders her drinks extra hot)but I like to take it a little slower. I also take about 1/10 of the milk in my coffee than Karyn does - she is not a fan of the black coffee....
So when I arrived in San Diego at 9:00pm, I drove my rental car over to College Area, where my grandparents live-and sure enough Poppa greeted me as he was drinking his Starbucks from earlier that morning. I got such a chuckle because I guess genetics really have passed this preference down from grandfather to grandson.
Anyone who knows my grandfather knows that he loves to talk to anyone (perhaps, yet another genetic trait that links us...hmmm)... We woke up the next morning and we walked to Starbucks near San Diego State and both ordered black coffee and put a very little amount of milk in. It was pretty cute. We sat down and had a great talk about what goes on in our 86 and 29 year old lives.

So I guess my Grandmother and Karyn's wishes that cold coffee disappears from their lives are not about to change...
Gotta love genetics!
