Exactly how many flexible people are there out there in this world?

Greetings from the road - Terminal D at the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. I am here for an aviation conference and had a good two night stay at Treasure Island after a brief shampooed carpet incident followed by a room change. But I digress...
Last night, a group of us from the conference went to see Mystere by Cirque du Soleil. Now I have to add first that I have seen CDS almost 6 times already and each time it amazes me. The first time I saw CDS was on the Washington Mall with my Aunt Lois (a Bar Mitzvah present maybe - what's up with all my bar-mitzvah related references in my blog lately?)
Anyway, last night was just like all of others. Incredible amazing aerobatics and death-defying stunts - and of course, being CDS, a lot of songs in foreign languages and imagery that was competely lost on me. But seriously, these shows are just incredible!
My question is this? Where are these courageous flexible artistic people coming from in the world? Quebec? China? Azerbaijan? That is the part of these shows that I just don't understand but I guess if you were a retired wrestler or a gymnast who didn't have any more competitions to go - Cirque Du Soleil is a great way to earn some money...
If anyone has ever NOT seen Cirque Du Soleil - definitely go and see it! And if you go to Las Vegas, there is a show on every block so you are good to go.
Off to my redeye flight back to Washington Dulles... Maybe I will put on a unitard, and do a triple flip down the boarding aisle and do a stunt while jumping in my seat???? Maybe not with my carry on...
Oh and a shoutout to my Pitt Panthers for beating West Virginia with a last minute three pointer. Trust me, I was the only Pitt fan in the SportsBook @ Treasure Island....and I made sure everyone knew that...
